On August 27, Quynh Nhai District Media and Culture Center held the opening ceremony of the men's and women's leather volleyball tournament to celebrate the 79th anniversary of the successful August Revolution (August 19, 945 - August 19, 2024) and National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2024).

          Participating in the Volleyball Tournament were over 130 athletes from 9 teams of units and communes in the area. Competing in a round-robin format, selecting the teams with the best results to compete in the semi-finals and finals.

Immediately after the opening ceremony, with noble sportsmanship and solidarity, the teams brought good football matches and beautiful passes, leaving many good impressions in the hearts of the audience. Through the tournament, it aims to propagate great victories in the cause of struggle and national liberation, as well as in building, protecting and developing the country. At the same time, it creates a change in awareness of all levels, sectors and the entire society about the role, position and importance of physical training and sports in improving people's health. This is also an opportunity for athletes to meet, exchange, and strengthen solidarity, contributing to promoting the movement of physical training and sports and successfully implementing the campaign "All people exercise." following the example of the great Uncle Ho" to connect the movement of building new rural areas locally.

         The tournament takes place from August 27 to August 30, 2024 at the district Media and Cultural Center stadium.
